Anti Sweat
Hyperhydrosis is the medical terminology for excessive and uncontrollable sweating, affecting over 110,00 patients in Australia. The inability to control perspiration is a problem that often starts during teenage years, and potentially leading to tremendous self consciousness, loss of self esteem and reluctance to participate in everyday activities. By administering Botulinum toxin injections to the affected area, the sweat glands shrink and decrease sweat production with typical results lasting up to six months.
Prior to your first treatment, our doctor will consult with you to assess your suitability for anti-wrinkle injections and discuss any concerns or questions you may have. The procedure involves a small amount of the prescribed product being administered into the selected facial muscle/s using a very fine needle. The injections may sting for a few seconds, but no anaesthetic is required.
